Dehradun - Quantum School of Business organized its annual
cultural extravaganza- Q-Dazzle 2017 . The event was very popular and attended
by thousands of students from various B Schools and Engineering Colleges.
Q – Dazzle consisted of three events ; a Quiz competition, Dance (Solo)
and Fashion Show (Paridhaan). More than 2000 students from different colleges
of Uttrakhand and Uttar Pradesh participated . Dr. Handa (Director General),
Prof. Rohit Kushwaha(Director of Business School), Dr. Gulshan Chauhan(Director
of Technical School) and the other guest.
The cultural program started with the Quiz show,
18 teams participated in this event. Manas Gupta and Sidhanshu Singh of Himgiri
Zee University stood first & Zinath Hashmi and Mohammad Fahad stood
second . Third position was taken by Dolly and Richa student of Phonix Group of
Institution. 25 students showcased their dancing skills in Solo Dance
competition, where they grooved on old bollywood numbers to new melodies .Mr.
Surinder Hali and Mona Verma (Novel writer) were the judge for this event
and declared Harsh Verma (Phonix Group of Institution ) as winner was the
winner and Bhawana Pundir ( S.D.College Roorkee) as the first runner-up and Pramod
Singh(HIT Dehradun) as the second runner-up.
The cultural event ended with the fashion show
where the participants were showcased their creativity and designing
skills. The judges of the fashion show were Dr. Sarkar (Director of
Adventist College) and Mrs. Amita Srivastava (Principal of Methodist College).
Participants were adjudged on the basis of their talent as well as the Q
& A round . Anant Kumar of Quantum School of Business was adjudged as
Mr. Paridhaan 2017 and Shilpi Kashyap of Uttrakhand University.Ms.
Paridhaan 2017 respectively.
The winners were awarded with the cash price and
the certificates by the honorable judges.Speaking on the occasion Mrs. Amita
Srivastava, Principal of Methodist College urged the students to come forward
and participate in such events in future to showcase their skills and
hidden talents.
Prof. Rohit Kushwaha (Director of Quantum School
of Business) ended the cultural event by his vote of thanks to the participants
of different colleges, Guest, Judges and students and faculties. He
wished them all the best for future and said these types of events will help
them to find new avenues too. He thanked the college management for all the
support they had extended in making this grand event a great show.
