Gautam Gambhir appointed as Head Coach of the Indian Cricket team. He will replace the Rahul Dravid. Gautam Gambhir was also a top performing BJP MP in last loksabha. He inaugurated kitchen in his constituency that provided meal at Re. 1 for needy people. Gambhir will officially begin his tenure in July and will serve until December 31, 2027, coinciding with the year of the next ODI World Cup.
